- **Event Description**: Dragonflies have long fascinated people, dazzling us with their iridescent and metallic colours as they cruise and dart around wetlands hunting for prey. In this talk, expert Nick Percival will outline the origins and natural history of dragonflies, their conservation and recording, and speak about local species. He’ll also give us some of his identification tips. 

Venue: Garden Room, Alton Community Centre, Amery St, Alton GU34 1FE. what3words ///instructs.spreads.viewing. Car park adjacent (payment required).

Tea, coffee and biscuits available for a suggested minimum donation of £1.

All welcome (under 18s please bring an adult). If you aren't a member of the Society, please consider donating £3 towards costs, so we can continue to run our valued programme of talks.
