Are you a ‘Northie’? Do you, or have you, lived or worked in North Lismore? Or have a strong connection to the community and place?
We're hosting two final portrait and memorabilia sessions. It's free and we invite past and present ‘Northies’ to take part.
Photographer Elise Derwin and local historian Adele Wessell will be onsite at these times.
Thursday 31 July 2025
1.00 — 3.00pm
Saturday 2 August 2025
10.30am — 12.30pm
Come along by yourself, or together with family or friends, for individual or group portraits. Bring memorabilia and personal stories and help us create lasting memories of North Lismore. (Please bring a USB if you'd like to keep digital copies of what the memorabilia we scan.)
What happens next?
This is part of Living Memory, a community project exploring the stories, history and memories of North Lismore.
We're creating a collection of oral histories, portraits, stories and memorabilia, which will become a digital archive to ensure they are accessible for long-term future reference. Together they will form a record of a North Lismore, it’s place and people, at a particular time.
