Knock Out

Join artists Simone O'Brien and Gabrielle Griffin for a dynamic 3-day workshop where physical theatre and circus come together in a boxing ring. This is a creative space to explore stories of knockdowns, comebacks, fantasy and triumphs — using movement, imagination, and the unique environment of the ring.

Using techniques from circus and physical theatre, you'll craft performances that could only happen in this space. Learn to turn a corner post into a moment of tension, use the ropes to build suspense, and let the ring shape how your story unfolds. Bring your stories and your imagination, and we'll make them move.
