"Founded in April 2022, Indigo Rose Disability Support Services is a values-driven organisation committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to people with disability. We proudly support 68 individuals across our local communities, helping them live with greater independence, inclusion, and purpose.
As a growing and inclusive employer, Indigo Rose provides meaningful opportunities for 89 staff, including 6 full-time and 5 permanent part-time positions. We also proudly offer supported employment, with three of our participants working casually within our office, developing real-world skills in a supportive and empowering environment.
Our commitment to workforce development extends to future professionals as well. We collaborate closely with Wollongbar TAFE, offering placement opportunities for students completing their qualifications in disability and community services, helping them gain valuable on-the-ground experience while contributing to our mission.
We are also proud partners of APM and Tursa, working together to support community members who face barriers to finding and maintaining employment. These partnerships ensure that our impact reaches well beyond our immediate participant base.
Indigo Rose actively invests in the broader community through sponsorships and donations to initiatives such as the Bundjalung Baygal Warriors RLFC, the Casino Truck Show Bull Ride, the APGO Police Calendar, More Media Group’s youth drug prevention campaigns, the Crime & Justice Forum, and The Tavs Foundation, supporting youth, Indigenous communities, and those facing disadvantage.
