O Ultimate é um desporto de equipas mistas (homens e mulheres) jogado com um disco voador. O objetivo é receber o disco na zona de golo defendida pela equipa adversária. O jogador em posse do disco não pode deslocar-se, mas pode passá-lo em qualquer direção para os colegas de equipa. Sempre que o disco cai ao chão ou é intercetado por um adversário, a equipa que estava a defender passa a atacar e vice-versa. O Ultimate é um desporto sem contacto físico e auto-arbitrado, em que todos os jogadores são responsáveis pelo fair-play.

Ultimate is a mixed team sport (men and women) played with a flying disc. The objective is to catch the disc in the end zone defended by the opposing team. The thrower is not allowed to run with the disc but may pass it in any direction to a team-mate. Whenever the disc falls to the ground or is intercepted by an opponent, the defensive team becomes the offensive one and vice-versa. Ultimate is a non-contact and self-officiated sport in which every player is responsible for fair play.
