Johnny Appleseed Festival Apple Sack Fashion Show

The Apple Sack Fashion Contest will give contestants an opportunity to showcase their creative talents by creating a piece of fashion with the primary and common element being an “apple sack” (burlap bag). The bag may be decorated with any type of accessory, notions, design enhancements, printing, etc. desired by the creator. The bag may be cut and additional fabric may be added. At least 60% of the fabric (excluding lining) must be the apple sack(s). An “apple emblem” must be incorporated somewhere within the design - buttons, embroidery, decal, etc. No Johnny Appleseed costumes are permitted! The final creation must be worn/modeled at the Festival by either the creator or a designee. Appropriate clothing must be worn underneath. All designs must be “family friendly”. A complete list of rules will be available upon purchase of burlap sack(s).

Burlap sacks may be purchased from the Chamber Office for $10 each. More than one bag per entry is permitted. Registration may be made online at https://forms.gle/zvpcAMGsDCmwcVq18
