Na sua forma original, o "Pure Bal", é dançado em posição fechada, uma adaptação às restrições de espaço nas salas de baile da época (onde, por vezes, danças mais exuberantes como o Charleston eram proibidas).
Com o tempo, o Balboa evoluiu, incorporando posições abertas e dando origem ao "Bal-Swing". Este estilo, subtil e criativo, permite-nos dançar músicas rápidas sem perder o fôlego, mantendo sempre a elegância e a conexão com o parceiro.

Get ready for a journey into the world of Swing dance, where elegance and speed meet in Balboa!
To the sound of more lively Swing music, the Balboa stands out as a sophisticated and detailed dance. In its original form, the "Pure Ball", it is danced in a closed position, an adaptation to the space restrictions in the ballrooms of the time (where, sometimes, more exuberant dances such as the Charleston were prohibited).
Over time, the Balboa evolved, incorporating open positions and giving rise to the "Bal-Swing". This subtle and creative style allows us to dance to fast songs without losing our breath, always maintaining elegance and connection with our partner.
