Laugh twice as hard than ever before! Saturday Splits brings together two of Lisbon's best comedians with one mission. TO HAVE YOU IN SPLITS!

The comedy scene in Lisbon is growing and alongwith that our comedians have more and more material they'd love to showcase in front of you. Join us at this special split bill showcase featuring two handpicked comedians from Lisbon's vibrant comedy scene. We'll add in some amazing vibes from our lovely hosts and this will be a night to remember!

The comedians will do longer sets during this split bill so that you can get to know them better and they can get deeper into their material. This is why unlike our other shows we limit this show to 2-3 comedians.

This week we feature two of Lisbon's favorite comics - Francesco Carnovale (@frangofrescocomedy) and Adriano (@adriano.vb).

Francesco is a half-Italian, half-Brazilian comedian who first stepped on stage in Beijing at a local English open mic. Many years and several traumas later, he found himself in Portugal, where he has been a regular in the Lisbon stand-up scene. Performing in English, Italian, and Portuguese, his comedy blends cultural absurdities, expat misadventures, and a healthy dose of self-deprecation.

Adriano catapulted onto Lisbon’s comedy scene in 2023 and has since hopped across a few stages in Europe - mostly where Ryanair flies to. As the bilingual love‑child of Latin America and Germany, his comedy gives a unique insight into what he calls „multiple nationality disorder“. Reflecting on the mundane absurdity of every day experiences he skillfully sprinkles everything with the perfect amount of sarcasm, irony and dark humor. His first Netflix special „When life gives you hemorrhoids“ has until now been declined by Netflix.

Ash (@backpackme) will be joining us to host this lovely duo and entertain you all through the night.

Selva Comedy Cafe will welcome you to a cozy cafe with warm friendly vibes and we'll laugh the night away. Our comedians will have you in SPLITS!

Comedy is the best ice breaker, especially if you're new in town. So join us for a great evening of fun and maybe you'll even make some new friends for life.

Doors open at 8.30PM. Come enjoy some drinks! The show starts at 9PM so please be comfortably seated by then, drinks in hand.

The schedule is kind of like this:

8.30PM - Doors open and we start serving drinks and snacks

9.00PM - Comedy show starts

9.45PM - Short break, drink refill, perhaps a sneaky quick snack.

10.30PM - Show ends and there is time for more drinks, laughter, and merry making!

The venue (Selva Comedy Cafe) will serve craft beer, wine, cocktails (espresso martini, g&t, lisbon mule, etc.), Why Not organic sodas, kombucha, and some light snacks!

How it works: Please register to reserve your spot through Eventbrite and arrive by 8.30PM. We have VERY limited seating so it's best to reserve your spot and arrive on time! We hold your reservation until 8.45PM.

PS: This event is for attendees ages 15 and over. A lot of the jokes and content are adult themed. Since this is a performance art event, please don't bring your babies or dogs to it unless they can stay quiet while the performances are taking place.
