Participants Bios

c_robo_ is an electronic musician and producer based in Los Angeles. He's concerned with exploring how expressive a laptop interface can be.

Blaž Pavlica is a programmer, live-coder, audio-visual artist and DJ from Ljubljana, Slovenia. In the last years he has been focusing on different forms of livecoding, doing visuals with the Hydra language, experimental soundscapes, sometimes with immersive sound, and algorave with the SuperCollider language.

Mashing SuperCollider synths since 2006, Shelly Knotts wrangles beats and bloops out of unpredictable and semi-random noise generators and auto-drum machines.

Te-En Chen is a composer and sound artist whose work bridges classical tradition and experimental practice, based in Linz, Austria. With a background in piano, guitar, and choral singing, he explores electronic noise, multichannel composition, synthesizer performance, and free-tonal improvisation. His projects span live coding, sound installations, and interdisciplinary collaborations.

map(h) is a collective conformed by Sule Suarez (Colombia) and Gorka Egino (Basque Country), based in Linz, Austria. They experiment and jam together within Live Coding environments, trying to bring new and playful concepts in every performance. Together they founded Toplap Linz to explore the possibilities of collaborative jamming and knowledge exchange, leveraging technologies as Flok.

servus.at is a non-profit net culture initiative based in Linz. It produces art and research projects dealing with digital and network cultures; it operates an autonomous cultural data center with open source services for artists and producers & organizes the community festival Art Meets Radical Openness.
