LHS Public Meeting - Showing of 2nd Grade Classes from 1951-1961 at Alice Schafer

Did you, or someone you know, attend Alice Schafer Elementary School in 2nd grade during the years 1951, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960 or 1961? Was Mrs. Bodisch your teacher?

If you did - you do NOT to miss our next public meeting here at the Historical Society on August 26th at 7 p.m.!

We have just digitized a movie film taken by August Bodisch (his wife was the teacher) that he took of the second grade classes coming out of the building and at recess! Close-ups of almost all the children and you can watch them run, play on the swings and teeter totters, etc. These are non-audio movies.
