"Greasy Gravy is the acoustic styled duo of Matt Hendricks and Rick Sherry. Matt leads the band (vocals, fingerpicking and slide guitar) and is a veteran of the Chicago solo acoustic scene. Rick (washboard, harmonica, clarinet, and kick drum) has also been a fixture, playing old American music with Devil In A Woodpile, Sanctified Grumblers, The Hat Stretchers, and as an accompanist of delta blues legend David Honeyboy Edwards for many years. It’s a natural match due to the duo’s shared love and output of the pre-war genre and Matt’s storied originals"
