Do you have the need for Speed? Get ready! The 10th Annual Memorial Day Go Karting Extravaganza, The Daytona 500 of Go Karting and great way to kickoff Summer. The event will be Sunday May 25th 100% Electric, 45 MPH. I look forward to this event every year and I’m very excited to be hosting and racing in the most anticipated race of the season and biggest race of the season. We had an great turnout in this event last year but now we hope to get a BIG turnout and bring everyone across CT, RI, and the South shore part of MA for this year’s Extravaganza race. Here’s a time schedule what will be happening:
8:00-Arrive at R1 Indoor Karting
8:30-Prerace Tailgate Party (includes music, food curtesy from Bagel World)
9:00-National Anthem
9:15-Everyone will sign up and Race
9:30-Green Flag
11:00-Post race interviews (winner included)
After the race: Trophy presentation, Rookie Award, Group picture at the victory lane podium
If we can have everyone come around 9:00 AM that would be good. We ask that you meet in the parking lot before the start of the National anthem. Once the anthems over and we have everyone in our group then we can go in. If by any chance your running late, please let me know. Also, If your a first timer, here's a list of prices for the races:
1 Race - $26.99
2 Races - $54
3 Races - $69.00
Again, you don’t have to do 3 races. You can do whatever races you choose. Also if your a 1st timer for this event, you will be listed as Rookie. How it goes: If a Rookie driver has the highest finish in either the 2nd or 3rd, wins the award! However if a rookie wins the event, they will receive the winners trophy and the Rookie trophy. If you have a friend that would love to come to this event Please....invite them. The more people, the better. Tell them about our event, share it on your page. We do ask everyone to RSVP by May 18th that will be the week before the Memorial Day go karting Extravaganza. You don't want to miss out on this event. Also to make the Month of May even more exciting, May 10th will also be the Rhode Island Grand Prix race. How this came about? Think of when Indycar does their month of May at Indianapolis. You’d have the Grand Prix Race and 2 weeks later the Indianapolis 500. This was the route that we decided to do for extravaganza month. If you have any Questions or concerns, PM me.
