Take Me Fishing Day at Blackstone River State Park

It's time for our annual Founders Day fishing event!

Join Park Rangers, staff from RI DEM, US Fish and Wildlife staff, and volunteers for a free fishing program at the Kelly House Barn. Located in Blackstone River State Park, 1075 Lower River Rd., Lincoln, RI.

Hosted on August 24, 2025 from 1-4 PM.

Catch some fish, learn about the river, and earn a Junior Angler badge. All fishing gear, materials, and bait will be provided.Please wear comfortable footwear and bring water. Bug spray and sunscreen are also highly suggested.
