Now we all love rayguns, but steampunk making is about so much more than weaponry (and let’s face it everyone who has ever been a steampunk maker has probably repainted a NERF Maverick at some point!)

You challenge, should you choose to accept, is before Asylum to turn a toy gun into something that isn’t a weapon and enter it into the 2025 Asylum Great Exhibition.

What to turn it into is entirely up to you (full size prop, scale model, wearable accessory, whatever you want), you can use any other components you want, any tools, any glues paints etc. In fact, the only rules are:
1: Your build must include all parts of the chosen toy gun(s).
2: Your build can’t be a weapon.
3: Your build must be entered into the Great Exhibition using the special print at home entry cards which will be posted on this event nearer to Asylum.
