Prospective Member Informational Meeting

ATTENTION ALL!

Southeast Rural Fire and Recuse is currently looking to add new members to our department. If you’re looking to serve and give back to the community surrounding the Southeast parts of Lincoln and Walton, NE area this is your chance.

We will be holding an informational meeting on Wednesday August 27th, 2025 at our North Station, 8401 Holdrege Street.

We will be accepting applications until the end part of December as we plan to begin an academy class in January of 2026.


Requirements:

1. 19+ years old

2. Valid Drivers License

3. Able to pass criminal background check

4. Prior Firefighter experience preferred but not required.

5. Current EMT/Paramedics preferred but not required.
