Prisms of Perspective Author Event with Kwame Gyamfi

Kwame Gyamfi has lived several lives and very few people know all of them. He was abandoned as a child, experienced foster care, adoption, gang violence, and prison. He discovered sports, music, beauty, and love. He found the power of identity and name. Now a coach and mentor to hundreds of young people, Kwame felt it was time to tell his story.

He sat for fourteen hours of interviews with four writers and then asked, "What do you see? How would you tell my story?" The result is a unique peek into a life, vignettes from one man's story from four writers who each bring their background,
perspective, and ideas to the narrative. The story is richer, deeper, and more colorful than Kwame might have told on
his own.
