🌙 Nourish & Restore – Yogapuncture
£42.50pp (+small admin fee)
A deeply restorative experience of grounding, meditation, yin yoga & acupuncture
This is an invitation to slow down…to soften your body, quiet your mind, and gently replenish your energy.
Nourish & Restore Yogapuncture blends the healing stillness of Yin Yoga, the ancient wisdom of acupuncture, and mindful guided meditation to create a sanctuary of deep rest, release, and nourishment.
Through grounding meditation with acupuncture, a short ritual of nourishing mugwort tea, and long-held, floor-based yin poses, you’ll be supported to restore energy, release tension, and drop into a state of calm presence. The sequence is designed to be gentle, warming, and deeply nourishing — supporting the nervous system and kidney/bladder energy, areas traditionally associated with winter in TCM.
This is a space to pause, breathe, and simply be.
✨ What We’ll Be Using
Mindfulness & Breathwork
Gentle grounding meditation and breathwork to settle the nervous system and prepare the body for rest.
Acupuncture
A Traditional Chinese Medicine practice that supports balance, circulation, and the body’s natural healing response. Fine needles are used to calm stress, ease tension, and encourage deep relaxation.
Mugwort Tea
A gentle winter tonic, traditionally used to support circulation, warmth, and digestion, bridging the stillness of meditation with the restorative yin practice.
Yin Yoga
Slow, supported floor poses held for longer periods, focusing on the hips, pelvis, lower back, shoulders, and upper spine — areas closely linked to stored tension and emotional fatigue. These poses are grounded, low to the earth, and designed to calm the nervous system, invite stillness, and restore energy.

🌸 Who Is This For?

This class is particularly supportive if you are:
Feeling depleted or run-down
Experiencing winter fatigue or low energy
Navigating stress or a busy lifestyle
Looking to deepen your restorative yoga practice or explore acupuncture
Key Organs and Anatomical Focus
1. Kidneys (Yin organ)
Anatomical focus:
Lower back (around the waistline, just above the hips)
Sacrum and lumbar spine
Inner legs (along the inner thighs)
Feet & ankles
Why this matters:
Kidneys store vital energy (Jing) in TCM — linked to endurance, immunity, and adrenal/adrenaline support in modern anatomy.
Lower back and lumbar region often hold tension from stress or overwork — yin practice and acupuncture here nourishes energy.
Supporting kidney energy helps winter vitality, resilience, and overall balance.
2. Bladder (Yang organ)
Anatomical focus:
Full length of the back, from neck to sacrum
Back of the legs (hamstrings, calves)
Occiput (base of skull)
Feet
Why this matters:
The Bladder meridian runs along the spine and posterior chain (back of body)— tension here stores stress and fatigue.
Stimulating these areas through gentle yin stretches and acupuncture supports fluid circulation, nervous system regulation, and the body’s natural detoxification.
Yin poses targeting the posterior body help release stored stress and restore calm.
