Prepare for a fresh take on jazz as Joshing About bring their playful, genre-blending trio to Lincoln Jazz Café for one night only. This is no ordinary jazz set — this is jazz with a twist, a wink, and a wild pedalboard.
🎸 Josh Walter on guitar is a shape-shifter of style, slipping effortlessly from delicate jazz lines to funky modern textures. 🥁 Neil Richards — a beloved LJC regular — brings his rhythmic freedom and expressive flair to every set. And grounding it all is the superb Mat Short on bass, whose musical instincts and rock-solid groove keep the trio agile and bold.
Expect jazz standards with a twist — Moanin’ with an Afrobeat pulse, Caravan reimagined through a hip-hop lens, or Creep by Radiohead turned into a smooth Bossa Nova. They might even slip in a jazzy take on Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter… because why not?
