Cops 'n Bobbers

Join Big Gumdrop Outdoors, the Lincoln Police Department, and the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission for Cops ‘n Bobbers—a free community event designed to bring families together through fishing, education, and meaningful connection!

Spend the morning at Holmes Lake (Shelter 3 area) fishing alongside local police officers and conservation officers, as we break down barriers and build stronger relationships between law enforcement and our community. All equipment will be provided, and no fishing experience is necessary.

This event is open to all ages and families. Lunch will be provided, along with hands-on activities and opportunities to learn more about Nebraska’s aquatic wildlife and conservation efforts thanks to Spring Creek Prairie and Nebraska Game and Parks Crimestoppers.

Come create memories, foster connection, and enjoy a day outdoors in partnership with those who serve and protect our community!
