Dr. Laura Ingwell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Entomology at Purdue University, specializing in fruit and vegetable pest management. With a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Idaho and a strong background in ecology and biology, Dr. Ingwell’s research focuses on sustainable pest control strategies, insect-plant interactions, and integrated pest management (IPM) in specialty crop systems. Her work has been widely published in peer-reviewed journals, and she is a passionate advocate for environmentally responsible agricultural
practices. At Purdue, she leads extension and research programs that support growers in adopting innovative, science-based solutions to pest challenges.
