Knife Skills- Slice, dice, mince, chop & julienne!

A good knife is an essential tool in the kitchen. This beginner’s class focuses on teaching you how to use a knife with confidence and ease. By the end of class, you’ll be equipped with the essential skills to chop vegetables like a pro!

Participation: This is a hands-on class, each person will be handling a knife. We have a variety of knife types and styles for use in class or you are welcome to bring your own.

Add-On: Drop off your personal knife for sharpening any day of the week. $7

You will learn:

Types of knives, what you should have in your drawer
Care of your knife
Types of cuts- dicing, slicing, mincing, julienne
Types of cuts for different application
Menu: A Refreshing Salad and Homemade Salad Dressing is included. Stay and enjoy the fruits (or veggies) of your labor!
