Christmas Patchwork Workshop - LFWI Offices, Leyland - £20.00

This is a course for intermediate patch workers and quilters who have already tried this craft and have the required equipment and understanding to learn new skills. Not suitable for a beginner, but an experienced quilter may enjoy making the blocks in good company. On the day two different blocks will be taught. The blocks will have a Christmas theme (though not religious) and these blocks can be used to make a table runner and/or table mats. Having completed two blocks, almost any project can then be done at home if wished, from a small hanging to a full bedspread. You will need to bring a sewing machine, extension lead, cutting mat, pressing mat and small patchwork iron, rotary cutter, quilting rulers, threads etc. To book your places, please go to www.lancashirewi.org.uk and click on the Event Booking Tab.
