Unite the City: K-LOVE + Lexington Rescue Mission

At Lexington Rescue Mission, we believe in the power of community—and we’d love for you to be part of it.

On Saturday, May 10th, we’re hosting a Unite the City volunteer day, alongside K-LOVE, from 9 AM to 1 PM at our new Community Center! We’re inviting you to join us in serving our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship right here in Lexington.

Come ready to roll up your sleeves and serve with joy—we’ll be:

✔ Packing hygiene kits
✔ Sorting donations
✔ Sharing kindness and love with those who need it most

Your support helps us glorify God by meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of hurting people in our community. This is more than an event—it’s a chance to make a lasting difference.

We’re also collecting the following (trial size) items for hygiene kits:

Bar of soap
Toothbrush (individually wrapped)
Toothpaste
Shampoo
Deodorant
Shaving cream
Band-Aids
Chapstick
Alcohol wipes (individually packed)
Body wash

Together, we can be a reflection of Christ’s love in action. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!
