OCD and Neurodivergence

Training Summary (2 hour CE Approved by the Kentucky Board of Social Work):

Join us for a 2-hour continuing education training designed for clinicians working with clients experiencing Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and neurodivergence. This session will explore how to navigate common barriers to treatment, including setting realistic expectations, enhancing communication, and supporting a client-led approach. Participants will learn strategies for preparation, safety, and stabilization through structured skill-building. The training will also guide clinicians in creating a flexible and responsive clinical toolkit, adapting evidence-based protocols to better meet individual needs, and engaging in ongoing treatment planning, assessment, and evaluation. Attendees will leave with practical tools to enhance their effectiveness and confidence in treating OCD within neurodivergent populations.
