Fall Unified Audition Info
Our Mission: A League of Theatres is dedicated to fostering collaboration and unity among theatre artists in Central Kentucky. We strive to ensure the availability of essential resources, provide equal access to theatre opportunities, and cultivate a supportive, thriving theatre community.
We are thrilled to offer a group audition for all League members. This audition is an opportunity to be seen by multiple League theatre companies and be considered for their upcoming productions. When you sign up, you will have the opportunity to select whether you’d like to be considered for plays, musicals, or both. We look forward to seeing what Central Kentucky artists bring to the table!
Who: League Members (Ages 16+)
When: Saturday, August 16th from 10:00am-4:00pm (You will not be expected to stay the whole time. Audition slots will be assigned and communicated in advance.)
Where: Antagonist Productions, 2520 Regency Road, Lexington, KY, Suite 140
Audition Requirements:
Musical Theatre
- Two 32-bar cuts of contrasting musical theatre songs (accompanist provided)
- Choreography taught at audition
- May be asked to participate in cold-reads
Acting (Plays)
- Two contrasting 60-second monologues
- May be asked to participate in cold-reads
Both
- One 60-second monologue
- One 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song (accompanist provided)
- Choreography taught at audition
- May be asked to participate in cold-reads
