There are some souls whose light is so bright, it leaves a glow long after they’re gone — and David Lee Jones was one of those souls.
Lee was a man who loved deeply and lived fully. Anyone who saw him with his beautiful wife could see what true love looks like — Together, they created their own little paradise in their backyard, an outdoor oasis where laughter, music, and memories flowed.
Lee loved The University of South Carolina Gamecocks, and whether it was football season or not, he carried that pride with joy. But more than that, he brought music and light to every room he entered. Singing, dancing, and performing with his band Wide Open was where he shined — sharing joy with everyone around him.
The Hidden Tavern wasn’t just a bar to Lee — it was filled with friends who became family. And to everyone at The Hidden Tavern, Lee and Robin weren't just a friend — they were like family. His laughter, the stories, and his presence will forever echo through its walls.
Though he's no longer with us, his spirit will never be far. He lives on in every song, every dance, and every Carolina game.
