The Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church is offering Camp Daniel Summer Academic Program; the program is a 6-week, 4 days a week program (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.). The Program is designed to provide summer enrichment learning opportunities for students entering 1st -6th grade in the 2025-2026 school year. The Program will start on Monday, June 9, 2025, and end on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided. Students will be immersed in academic grade readiness in math, language arts, and reading. Students will participate in two educational field trips.
Academic teachers and teacher assistants will provide students with the necessary structures to research, develop, and instruct each child to ensure student grade level is obtained. The Program is designed to strengthen the Academic skills of our students in grades one through six, concentrating on the core subject areas: math, language arts, and reading. Teachers will be using the State of South Carolina Department Standards.
The program will provide after-care services from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. After-care services include a snack, recreational gym activities, and guest speakers (Fire Department, Sheriff Department, Professional Athletes, Physical Fitness, Arts & Crafts, and guest entertainment). This promises to be a challenging and motivating summer activity for your inquisitive learner!
All student applications must be received by Thursday, May 15, 2025.
