Arab Darbuka/Hand Drumming Class with Fadi el Saadi

Join us at Arabesque World Dance for Arabic Tabla-Darbuka-Hand Drum Class with guest teacher, and international recording artist and musician Fadi el Saadi!

With classical training in music theory, and over 40 years of experience drumming; Fadi will make sure students gain a deeper understanding of how to play their drums safely and with finesse.
This Class is for students of all levels.
Class will start slow, we will work on the actual sounds we can make on the drums, proper hand and arm positions, and drilling the sounds, but we will also get to work on a few Rhythms and learn variations on playing them.

Class will run 120 minutes (or more).

Arabesque has a few Darbuka to lend, Arab drums are more appropriate for this style of playing drums, but if you only have a Djembe you are welcome to bring it.
