Learn Basic Chain Maille Skills with Justine ( @chainbow )on December 7th, 3 - 6 pm at Ellard Studios in Lewiston!

Chain mail was a form of medieval armor worn in several regions of the world, used to repel arrows and piercing weapons. Today, we can use it for cool accessories, jewelry, or costumes.Learn to make the European 4-in-1 weave. You can make a rectangular bracelet or a square fidget, or just focus on learning the technique.

We will work with aluminum rings, which are light weight, and most weavers are able to manipulate well.Students who have made 4-in-1 before may also learn box weave.

Workshop cost is sliding scale $0 - $50 per person. No one turned away for lack of funds!
