☀️ Acro O'Clock has invited the amazing acro teachers *Caspian & Laura from AcroSpirit* 🤩 to Belgium during the weekend of 13 and 14 September for some amazing acro workshops! Don't miss them as this will be one of their last stops on their Summer Tour before they return to Bali. 🏠
You can expect to improve your acro level in a safe way while having lots of fun! 😁

🔹 Saturday 13 September:
✴️ 10:30-13:00 Workshop 1
Intermediate acroyoga washing machines & flows, focussed on side stars, like 420, killer bee… that can be linked together.
Pre-reqs: solid side star and ninja star (safe without spotters); some experience with ballerinas is recommended.

✴️ 15:00-17:30 Workshop 2
Standing acro: F2H and H2H. Looking to do your first standing F2H and/or H2H? Or do you already have some experience but are you looking to improve? This is the workshop for you! It will be a technical build-up to these skills, with L-base and standing progressions.
Prereqs: solid L-base F2H (low or extended doesn't matter), solid two high, ideally also having tried L-base H2H before if you want to do standing H2H (and not just standing F2H). If you're in doubt, please contact Acro O' Clock!

✴️ 10:30-13:00 Workshop 3
More intermediate acroyoga washing machines & flows (will be different from workshop 1!). Focussed on star and reverse star, like (cork)screwed, star wars, …
Pre-reqs: solid reverse star, solid fourstep, some experience with corkscrew (or similar) is recommended.

✴️ 15:00-17:30 Workshop 4
Icarian games! We will cover tricks like handsprings and courbettes; and if you already have some experience with them, we can add some variations to these as a challenge for you.
Pre-reqs: Solid star and reverse star, and good with the basic icarians (bird-bird, american chair - american chair). Also recommended to have some experience with american chair to bird.

No experience with icarian? Shoot Acro O' Clock a message, and we can arrange an intro to Icarian for the interested, so that you can learn, and join this workshop if you want to.

🟢 AcroSpirit:
Caspian and Laura are acro teachers who strive to be skilled in all areas of acro. They enjoy teaching students of all levels, and enjoy the different challenges and disciplines that acroyoga has to offer.
They are skilled in Icarians, Hand to Hands, Whips, Standing Acrobatics, Flows, Washing Machines, Therapeutics and more, with a current focus on more dynamic icarian and standing skills.
They are increasingly inspired and motivated to improve their technique and understanding in all areas of acro whilst also being creative, and developing new moves and washing machines. They have learned from amazing teachers who have all ignited to be the best practitioners and teachers they can be, which is why they value building and growing their teaching partnership to continue to thrive.
Caspian is great in analysing and understanding technical details and Laura’s embodiment and implementation of refinements, as well as her excited celebrations compliment their partnership. Together they have built a powerful and balanced teaching dynamic that allows each of their unique personalities and skills to shine together.
Their classes are technical, focussed on giving detailed cues, smart progressions, personal coaching and always having safety as a high priority. They both have a background in martial arts which contributed to their interest in safe exit strategies, falling and rolling which they use in their own practice as well as in their teaching.
They aim to empower their students by sharing a foundational understanding of acro skills, and also by embracing and highlighting the non-physical aspects of acroyoga. With the goal that students will safely and successfully grow their own practice independently.
As a couple with a training and teaching partnership they experience the continuous opportunity that acroyoga offers to develop in communication, interpersonal skills and mindset, and like to share these benefits with students too.
Bali is their home base where they run the AcroSpirit community, and organise the AcroSpirit festival, retreats and other acro training events. They also teach internationally and have taught at many amazing acro festivals across Europe and Asia.
