This ticket will get you access to the Saturday afternoon talks on farming for nature in the uplands, Corncrake conservation, and a workshop on analysing soil health with Teagasc.
Farming in the High Nature Value Uplands - Learn about the year on Colm Gavin's upland farm and how through community it is improving the surrounding landscapes.
Corncrake LIFE - CorncrakeLIFE is a five year EU funded programme and has recorded a 35% increase in birds since it began in 2021. Learn more about how the project works with farmers and landowners to improve habitat for corncrakes in the Special Protection Area network and surrounding farmland.
Ground Truth - Teagasc's GroundTruth project is a citizen science initiative, designed to improve soil literacy and raise public awareness of soil health. Participants will learn practical skills in assessing soil health and understanding soil’s role in ecosystems and how it supports plant health.
