BuzzWords: Adult Spelling Bee

Think you're Lethbridge’s top adult speller?

Join us on Friday, May 30th at Theoretically Brewing as we host our second annual adult spelling bee and Library fundraiser, BuzzWords!

Registration fee is $10 per contestant. Contestants will be able to purchase up to three optional second chance bonuses, at $5 each. Each bonus may be used once. Bonuses are:

-Skip The Word: Skip the word that’s been given to you, and move onto the next word on the list.

-Ask The Audience: Ask one audience member for help, with a 30 second time limit.

-30 Seconds with a Dictionary: Spend 30 seconds with the official dictionary.

Planning on joining us in the audience? You can participate, too! Buy a Save-A-Speller button for $10 to save an eliminated speller. Buttons will be limited to the number of spellers registered, and will be available at the doors.

Doors open and speller sign-in starts at 6:30 p.m. All spellers must be signed in by 6:50 p.m., or your spot may be forfeited. The Bee will begin at 7:00 p.m., and will continue until only one speller remains.
