Retuners + Viv Lucas

The Retuners play for us this evening as a trio, with Tom Ryder on guitars and vocals, Kim Stoker on piano and vocals, and Greg Cambourn on sax and whistles. Expect heartfelt songs full of poignant emotion – music for better mental wellbeing. The band is part of mental health charity Retune, which focuses on finding creative outlets such as music to boost happiness and resilience.

Club favourite Viv Lucas always enchants with great songs, fine vocals and lovely guitar playing. He performs many songs from the Neil Young song book and even Viv’s self-written songs often sound more like Neil Young than Neil Young! Viv has performed many times at the club and is also an accomplished songwriter in his own right and has produced a beautiful album of ten self-penned songs, entitled Edgelands. He has recently released a fabulous new album, Nowhere In Between.

Sadly David Collins has had to withdraw due to ill health, but we're hoping to have a last-minute substitution to play for us. Watch this space, or better still, coming along for the surprise! Free entry. Doors open 7:00pm.
