We will explore solidarity, the tensions between ethnicity and class and how the very idea of identity is being stretched, sometimes beyond recognition. We will end the evening with Nocturnal Reception and the DJ set by Kolektiv.

About the speakers:
Leonard Benardo is Senior VP of the Open Society Foundations, overseeing the Ideas Workshop and Open Society University Network. Formerly VP, Eurasia director, and Fellowship Program director, he serves on several university boards and has authored books and essays on history and politics.
Bhaskar Sunkara is the president of The Nation magazine and the founding editor of Jacobin.
Oliver Eagleton is an editor at Phenomenal World and New Left Review. His books include The Starmer Project (2022) and Your Party (2025). He is a regular contributor to the New Statesman, writing on current affairs and political theory, and he also writes for the Guardian, New York Times, and Jacobin.
