Join Bonnie Rideout of Bonnie's Baskets on Saturday, March 21st for this hands-on, guided basket-weaving workshop! All tools and materials will be provided, and by the end of the day participants will take home a 2 3/4” H x 5 3/4” W x 8” L finished basket.
The Country Catch All is a great basket to learn the basics of weaving. The basket starts by laying out a woven, filled base and tucking the filler spokes with the “chicken feet” technique. Other techniques include start/stop weaving, using a flat locking row, using braided sea grass as a rim and the use of an overlay. The accent color is Walnut. Two buttons adorn the front. It may be called the Country Catch All but it will fit into any décor!
