We will ride from Fort Loudon Marina, going through Fort Loudoun Locks, to Blue Springs Marina (Watts Bar Lake) and back to Fort Loudon Marina. Last year, we had 21 jet skis and had a blast!
Estimated Schedule:
Meeting Time: 9:00 am
Departure Time: 9:30 am sharp
Ft. Loudon Marina Fuel Dock opens at 9:00 am
Lock Through: Estimated 10:00 am
Arrive at Blue Springs Marina: 12:00 pm
Depart Blue Springs Marina: 1:30 pm
Arrive at Fort Loudoun Lock: 3:00
Details:
* We will meet (on the water) at Fort Loudon Marina Fuel Dock and Calhoun's Tiki Hut Dock. If you are trailering your jet ski, we will have the gate at the Dockos boat ramp open at 8:30 am.
* Fort Loudon Marina Gas Pumps are scheduled to be open at 9:00 am that morning. WindRiver Marina has 24 hour gas pumps as well. Be sure to get gas before our departure time. We will refuel at Blue Springs Marina.
* This is a 50 mile ride each way estimating 90 minutes travel time between the Lock and Blue Springs Marina.
* We should arrive at Blue Springs Marina around noon
* We will eat lunch and refuel at Blue Springs Marina
* Each Jet Ski will need a rope (all Jet Skis will raft up with each other in the Lock)
* Average speed will be 30 mph (in the past we have had a group that likes to run 50 mph; however, comfort speed is typically 30 mph and also allows smaller jet skis the fuel range to make the trip)
* We will take a break along the way!
* We plan to arrive back in LC around 3:30 pm.
