The Flavors and Tastes of Summer!
Join Doug and Sue Sunday July 13 for a fun, not-to-be-missed virtual event featuring the flavors and tastes of summer!
We’ll have four courses of food and three FULL BOTTLES OF WINE! Doug and Sue will lead you through the wines and foods, telling their blend of stories, information and Doug's corny dad jokes!
•Our newest summer menu item and Doug's obsession! Blistered Sugar Snap Peas- blistered sugar snap peas, smoked sea salt, shaved 18-month parmigiano Reggiano, vinaigrette, puffed wild rice
oPaired with Centozone Frappato-a delicious light-bodied Sicilian red
•Pina Asada: Grilled Pineapple & Grilled Shrimp over mixed greens with Goat Cheese Salad
oPaired with El Esteco Torrontes-crisp and fruity white from the far northern tip of Argentina
•Bridgewater’s Famously delicious Short Rib Burger- 8oz. patty, mushrooms, caramelized onions, steak sauce aioli, smoked Gouda sauce on Brioche bun (Delivered cooked but deconstructed) We’ve been told these burgers are the best in ILM!
oPaired with Julien Cecillon Syrah-from the northern reaches of France’s Rhone Valley, this will knock your socks off!
Finally, Susan’s homemade Peach Crisp!
The price for food and three bottles of wine is only $120/couple. Invite your friends and neighbors to help you with the wine, extra meals are available for only $35/each!
The virtual event is Sunday July 13 starting at 5:30pm, until ~7:00 PM.
Pickup your food and wine at either the Leland or Porters Neck location, Saturday the 12th 1-6 PM.
