Im Zimmermannischen Caffe-Hauß in Leipzig griffen vor 300 Jahren herausragende Musiker regelmäßig zu ihren Instrumenten. Unter den zahlreichen prominenten Gästen, die Johann Sebastian Bach als Leiter des Collegium musicum dort empfing, ragt der Dresdner Violinvirtuose Johann Georg Pisendel heraus. Wie die beiden im Duo wohl improvisiert haben könnten, demonstrieren in einzigartiger Weise Leonard Schick (Cembalo) und Matthieu Camilleri (Barockvioline).
