It's Wednesday, and it's time for a night of practising Dutch and generally being sociable.
The Dutch Conversation Night is an event aimed primarily at those learning Dutch and has been especially useful for those who are real beginners. Feel free to come along and speak as much or as little as you wish or even just to listen. If at any time you feel that Dutch is too much we can always switch to any other language that works. Remember that this is a social event and not a language course so please do not feel under any pressure.
For those who aiming to take their Dutch to a higher level we have attendees of all levels up to native Dutch speakers.
The schedule:
- from 8 till 9 we focus on speaking Dutch. (You are welcome to join in and practice but there is no problem with just listening and familiarising yourself with the language)
- from 9 onward we focus on socialising. You are welcome to still practice your Dutch or speak English and meet new people.
The DCN is an informal gathering where you:
* can pick up some useful words while you meet new people.
* have the chance to practice your Dutch language skills in a friendly environment.
* Just want to have a drink? The DCN is mainly a social event.
All levels including native Dutch speakers are welcome.
Time: from 20.00 till 23.00 (or sometimes later)
If you have problems finding us then the bar staff always know where we are.
