Tabletop Games for Youth: Dungeons and Dragons one-shot

Don’t miss this special Dungeons and Dragons edition of our monthly youth gaming club. Over the course of an afternoon you will battle monsters, overcome perils, and emerge a hero – if the dice are in your favour! Newcomers welcome.

In addition, there will be a selection of board games available to play. Games include Catan, Wyrmspan, Sushi Go, Exploding Kittens, Codenames, Chess, Magic the Gathering and more. You are welcome to bring games to share.

PLEASE NOTE: Spots on the D&D table are limited. Tickets to play board games and card games will not admit you to the D&D table.

Ages 13-18

All welcome, no experience required.

ABOUT THE DUNGEON MASTER:

JAYCE CARRANO is a published writer and communications professional with Law and Media degrees from Sydney University and more than 5 years experience working with young people as a private English tutor, debating instructor, fencing coach and swim teacher. Jayce is also an improvisational actor who has trained overseas in Chicago and Los Angeles, performed to sold out crowds at SXSW Sydney, Sydney Comedy Festival and Sydney Fringe and who features regularly at Improv Theatre Sydney in Redfern. Jayce has several years of experience running beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons games for kids, teens and adults.

CALLING ALL DUNGEON MASTERS

Want to run your own Dungeons and Dragons session? Let us know! We welcome youth aged 13-18 to DM at our monthly tabletop games afternoon. You can express interest to be a Dungeon Master using this online form.

ABOUT THE VENUE

LEICHHARDT LIBRARY is accessible from street level and via lift from the car park.
