Before we all move into the full pace of the festive season, this session offers a simple pause — a moment to breathe, soften and come back to yourself. Chocolate included and warm spiced chai will be waiting for you at the end, for anyone who’d like to stay for a gentle unwind.
Join Karolina Kozera from Surya Yoga Sound for an evening of breathwork and sound designed to ease tension and help you feel more grounded as the year begins to close.
We’ll begin with yogic breathwork and nada yoga (the yoga of sound) to release mental and physical strain, reconnect with your breath, and settle your energy before moving into the sound immersion.
You will then be guided into a spacious, restorative sound bath using Tibetan and crystal bowls, gongs, bells, shruti box, monochord, flute, shamanic drums and voice.
This session supports the body in slowing down, digesting the past weeks, and creating room for a steadier inner rhythm during a typically busy month.
Sound healing can help with sleep, emotional balance, energy flow, stress regulation and general wellbeing — offering a kind of reset that doesn’t force anything, but allows the body to naturally realign.
What to bring: A blanket, eye pillow, cushion — anything that helps you feel comfortable and relaxed.
Precautions:
Not recommended for individuals with epilepsy or seizures.
Avoid if you have a pacemaker or implanted medical devices.
Those with sound sensitivity or certain mental health conditions (e.g., PTSD) should proceed with care.
Consult your doctor if pregnant, especially during the first trimester.
