Our spectacular Cathedral headliner is London-based producer, composer and keyboard player JOE ARMON-JONES, who creates in an uncompromising, free-flowing, experimental way, combining jazz, dub, hip-hop, funk and soul.
Jubilee Square Main Stage: Hosted by Jazz FM’s Tony Minvielle (12 PM - 7 PM)
The fantastic TONY KOFI QUARTET will headline our main stage in Jubilee Square. Led by award-winning Jazz multi-instrumentalist Tony Kofi, this supergroup of world-class musicians will entertain audiences with their unique and innovative style. Acclaimed trumpeter and composer BYRON WALLEN will bring powerful, uplifting original jazz. Olivier Award-winning drummer ROMARNA CAMPBELL will take to the stage with fearless music that uplifts and amplifies diverse voices. Bryan Corbett’s INSTRUMENTAL GROOVE UNIT is a funky, high-energy project blending jazz improvisation and groove. IAN HILL’s ‘Miles Ahead Project’ is a heartfelt tribute to Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue featuring fresh arrangements, new lyrics, and original compositions on love and hope. Helen Gayle’s LATIN VOICES is a celebration of Latin American music fused with jazz, soul, and contemporary music. Featuring members of Major Ruse and Moja, ILKE-TA will present ambient, cinematic jazz. They will be joined by Hannah Barrs on cello for a one-off performance as they weave beautiful melodies with rhythmic complexity and dynamic textures.
