Fight like a Viking - Beginner's Course

Unleash your inner warrior! Learn Viking combat basics in our fun, safe, beginner-friendly re-enactment 4-session training course.

Ready to step into the shield wall? This course is your gateway into the thrilling world of Viking re-enactment. Whether you’re curious about living history, passionate about Norse culture, or just eager to try something new, this hands-on training will teach you the foundations of re-eanctment combat in a safe and supportive environment. No experience or equipment needed – just bring your enthusiasm and a taste for adventure!
Registration includes 4 sessions:

-Wednesday 30th July 19:45-22:00

Youa re also invited to our Living History night on August 6th for no extra charge.

The aim of our combat training is to be able to put on entertaining demonstrations at events around the country while still having safe, competitive bouts that are fulfilling to the performers. And it's a lot of fun!

This course is tailored to giving you a great set of basics that will be transferable to many forms of martial art, theatre combat and re-enactment. After the course finishes, we train weekly and you'll be equipped to continue in the group, fighting in larger formations and participating in battles at public events.
