Troma Entertainment, formed by Michael Herz and Lloyd Kaufman in 1974, has been generating some of the most extreme and unforgettable screen sensations for decades, working social commentary subversively into their wild and wacky horror-comedy tales of Tromaville, and this year’s films are no exception!
This year we feature TWO WORLD DRIVE-IN PREMIERES, two Troma Classicks on 35mm, and two digital delights from the devious depths of the Troma trenches!

Friday kicks off with the Troma classic SURF NAZIS MUST DIE! (1987) on 35mm! See Leroy’s Mama fight fascist scum on the gang-infested battlefield beaches of California in a riptide of revenge!
Then, we present the WORLD DRIVE-IN PREMIERE of Director Mercedes The Muse’s RISE OF THE SUPER TROMETTES!!! A twisted Troma take on the comic book movie, featuring fierce females fighting a mysterious virus mauling men in Tromaville! Presented digitally.
If you’re still foaming at the mouth for more Troma-tastic treats, sink your teeth into RABID GRANNIES (1988)! Don’t try to take their Medicaid away, or they’ll eat your face! Presented digitally.
Saturday night earns a 4.0 with CLASS OF NUKE ‘EM HIGH (1986) on 35mm! Forget fentanyl, see what toxic waste-tinged drugs do to the student body at Tromaville’s titular temple of traumatic teaching!
Then, get ready for the WORLD PREMIERE of the “Mr. Melvin” cut of THE TOXIC AVENGER II, the second coming of the macho mopper like you’ve never seen it before! Experience the second chapter in the Toxic Avenger saga as it was originally meant to be seen! Directed by Lloyd Kaufman!
We end the night with a special 35th anniversary digital screening of DEF BY TEMPTATION (1990), the urban horror thriller about a NYC succubus preying on African American men who fall victim to her charms…and only a trainee minister, his actor pal, and a supernaturally-suspicious cop can stop the kinky killings! With James Bond III, Kadeem Hardison, Bill Nunn, and Samuel L. Jackson!
