Earth Building invites all for 4 days of creative, ritualistic clay work in self-sustainable Ayee village in the Nubra Valley, Ladakh where time slows and the soil speaks.
This will be a reconnection to the land — through clay work, nature rituals, land art, and community living.
Over 4 days, we’ll:
Shape clay with intention and intuition in guided sessions
Live with and learn from locals while participating in village life
conduct grounding rituals and go on beautiful hikes to get to know the land
visit culturally and spiritually important landmarks
And finally, create a collective earth offering! A clay sculpture incorporated into the landscape that will serve as an altar to Mother Earth.
This workshop will be facilitated by Melanie Baume, a travelling artist passionate about clay, art, regenerative living and permaculture.
No prior art experience needed, just curiosity and creative exploration, and a longing to slow down and remember.
