Art History & Experience

A crash course in art history that feels so much more like having stories read to you than studying a timeline! Each class will feature three different artists from an era of history - from the prehistoric cave painters to Angelica Kauffman - and stories about their life as well as their most impactful artworks. Hands-on activities and art projects will illustrate the mediums and techniques pioneered by these early artists. Ages 8-15, 12 students max.

Class runs for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 2-3:30pm at Faith Chapel Gathering Place for All an affirming, community-led art center in pastoral Lucketts, VA. By purchasing this class you acknowledge that you are signing your child up for all 8 classes in the series and the final showcase.
