Explore the rich folklore of New England, and hear about woodland fairies, haunted forests, and other spooky tales that spring from nature. We will walk the gardens and learn about the fickle spirits of the forest, what plants attract them or ward them off, and how to find evidence of their presence. Great for adults and kids with families age 8+. Best for kids and adults who enjoy spooky, fantastical tales, but the class will stay age appropriate.
Tickets are are $10 for members (with member discount code) and $15 for non-members with regular admission. This series is recommended for teens and adults.
Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please let us know 48 hours in advance of the class start time in order to receive a refund.

Lisa Bliss Cordner is an experienced gardener, marketer, artist and educator. She owns Creative Bliss Fine Gardening, and has more than 6 years experience as a professional gardener, and more than 20 as an avid home gardener. She served as the marketing manager for Rolling Green Nursery in Greenland, NH for 5 years, and assisted their transition to Gardener's Supply Company. She is a proud Bedrock Gardens alum, having served as their manager of education last season. She believes that exploring local folklore is a wonderful way to learn about our regional history and plants. It's also a fun way to set off the imagination for children and adults alike!
