Gendered registration is now open!
This will be a 3v3 format, playing with very similar rules to the 2v2 last year (we will post these again here, but you can find them under the 2v2 highlight on our instagram page in the short term). Rosters can have up to 4 players on them and the cost for these divisions is $250.
Games for these divisions will be shorter, and there will only be 1 tier of playoffs due to the small number of teams we can accommodate. We expect these divisions to fill quickly, so don't miss out!
You're invited to join Year 1 of Dodgeball Hub's Canadian Cloth Circuit! This tournament series welcomes rookies and competitive players alike, giving them the opportunity to engage in WDBF rule cloth dodgeball, in order to qualify for our cash prize Championship in Calgary, AB.
Our first stop on the circuit is Dodgeball Alberta's Summer Rumble event in Leduc, AB, which will feature Mixed Cloth and a cap of 10-12 teams. All teams are welcome, but the first 5 spots will be reserved for Canadian teams.
Registration is $450/team and can be done via Dodgeball Hub. This mixed event will require 3 male and 3 female identifying players on the court at all times.
**Register now to save your spot! Canadians can pay via etransfer, we will follow up with Americans to arrange payment in April.**
At this tournament all teams will make playoffs. The top half of the teams will move on to Tier 1, and the rest of the teams will play for Tier 2 glory. Only Tier 1 teams are eligible for qualifying placements for the Championship in Calgary.
Tier 1 will play placement games for bronze, Tier 2 will not. The top 3 teams from each stop on the circuit will qualify for the Championships in Calgary, but they must retain a majority of players from the stop in which they qualified on their roster.
Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 5 games. Round robin games will be 20 minutes, finals will be 40 minutes. Additional placement games may run for 40 minutes depending on the number of teams registered.
