I am teaching rolling to up to 5 new students each week at Countryside YMCA, in Lebanon, OH.
We guarantee you will roll a kayak in this class or we will refund the $65 fee.
7 more can sign up for practice.
New students pay $75 cash only for the first session only. You learn using our equipment. After that, each session is $10, to cover the YMCA fee.
You must contact George Davis to register. His contact information is at the bottom of this event notice.
We will need your email address, to send class details, and let you know about schedule changes. You will be added to our email list, unless you let us know that you do not want that.
We also need a good contact phone number, so the YMCA is able to contact you about any medical issues as needed.
once registered, you will be sent an email from one of us, giving you class details, including how to enter the complex. This facility is the largest YMCA in the U.S.
Getting to the right place is important with 5 pools.
We guarantee you will be rolling in the first lesson. All subsequent sessions for tune ups are free, except for the $10 pool fee that goes to the YMCA to pay the life guards. Come out now, and be ready for the spring!
The Lebanon pool will be available for kayak roll practice. Please pay Kathy Peterson the fee of $10 before putting your clean boat in the pool no earlier than 2:30 pm. Please bring exact change. The pool deck must be cleared by 5:45 pm.
PS. This event is just an FYI. Signing up here does NOT give you access.
You cannot just show up. The YMCA wants a head count prior to the event.
Fees collected when you arrive. Show up with a clean boat (smaller boats are easier to accommodate per Ms. Peterson), and exactly $10.00. Boats can be put on the pool deck as early as 2:30 pm.
If you're a river veteran come use the pool for $10 bring your equipment , new students are $75.
I provide boats to learn, skirt, paddle, and the all important dive mask. If you have your own bring it. Also bring your boat, I just use mine a teaching boat.
Thanks, see you in the pool.
