Lebanon Camera Club December Meeting

Program: "Critique Session"

A photography critique is a systematic analysis of a photograph that can help a photographer improve their work. It is a fair and reasonable assessment of a photograph's strengths and weaknesses. It can help a photographer see how others see their work, if their techniques are effective, and show them how to refocus their goals. In this program there will be a short presentation on critique do's and don'ts, followed by the group critiquing member photos. It is important to remember that critique should always be constructive, even when describing areas for perceived improvement. Also, member's opinions are subjective--the final determination of the merits of a photograph and any critique suggestions is the photographer.
